Dr. Arif is an expert in fluid dynamics, fracture mechanics, and soft matter. She is also interested in clean energy solutions as well as improved medical devices. Her mission is to make this world a better place project by project. She earned her Ph.D. from Northwestern University, M.S. from Bucknell University, and B.S. from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan.
